Funny someone should put it that way. Cirrus are currently running an Autumn promotion - if you order a new Blaze package you can get a 'Fire' sail FOC as well or alternatively a 'Halo' one for the token sum of just £ 125. The Logo's are a bit obvious as you suggest - they have to be. In addition Halo sails are trimmed in yellow in place of red so cannot really be confused by anyone. Should also be impossible for any owner to sign on lets say 'incorrectly' as well .....  Mike L. |

Any chance the trimming can be changed- picking holes here, but I know you won't take it emotionally, but that yellow's a bit minging.

Halos are Gold ...
Well mostly and is the defaut colour whether you call it yellow or Gold. For Blaze and now 'Fire' it is red of course. Our alternative colour across the Blaze family for those who really cannot learn to love the current default sail trim colours remains black - we do not routinely stock any sails in black but do get them supplied to special order. Colour choice and sensitivities are always interesting ... so for those who really really do not like 'Yellow/Gold' I've found an ideal photo .... an original Halo ..... plodding upwind.  |

yes, let'd crucify that post for forum posterity....
it's yellow, which makes it look like a Laser 3000. That's bad by the way. The guy is hiking- hard. That's bad by the way. I'm not entirely convinced that you can deduce that that is planing. In fact, I reckon he's just plopping off the stern wave of a photo boat, meaning he's a) faking it and b) you are using it to bolster some (potential) unproved upwind planing credential in your go to market strategy. That's bad by the way. He looks like a big tough unit, so I should probably refrain from commenting on reflection from his scalp, oh.... |

I think you've let all that 'yellow' talk has got the better of you there ....
Photo selected simply because it must be your favorate colour combo .... no claims whatsoever were made and we've previously never used it anywhere ourselves (except here and now) note. I would not upset Matt myself either - he's a big guy and fitter than 95% out there I'd guess. Anyway one of the 'core' Haloists and a bit of an enthusiast and champion for them. It was probably taken off Felpham in the last few months and if you know the place it is not the best one for those of a flat water persuasion. I've not got a clue if he was planing or not in the waves there, but if Matt is hiking right out it will be going bloody swift whatever. Anyway I quite like it as a photo regardless of colour! .....
