Jimbo, myself and Stu are heading over to South Cerney this weekend to meet up with the Zero based there.  Forecast looks perfect 11-19knots.  If you want to take my boat out and pop down you are more than welcome mate, be good to see you.

mate- saturday or sunday?  I'm daddy day care on Saturday with 4, maybe 5 kids.... f**k all on at the cinema so I might have to hit a new proletariat low of going to a Bowling Alley.  Sunday could work... depending on a visit to the new gaff to measure curtains and bedrooms...  #excitingtimes

We are heading up Sunday pal, 3 of us will be there.  You are welcome to go for a spin in my boat between races and even take it out for a race if you feel fit?  Be good to catch up!

Don't know how old your children are James, or how far south you are now, but mine used to love this place when they were younger.

cheers Steve- probably a tad far as I'm only helping some friends out for a few hours who've just started a new business.  But that looks like a nice day trip for next year. 

Anyway back on topic, D-Zeros - you'll be pleased to know there is a stepping stone down from the 300 to your Solo when you're good and ready- possibly worth getting a test sail in one when you get a chance.

Suggest wifey and a few mates might want to hire a limo and take the kids along make a trip of it, exit you..
Usually the preserve of birthdays, but limo's have gotten me out of all sorts of potential sailing clashes of interest. Nothing wimmen & kids like more (other than the money) than screaming around in a limo.
It can cost a bit, but then you're worth it (and you amass mega pointe d'brownie)
