Having collected my ship I have to say there are several subtle yet worthwhile improvements over the early demo boats and I'm blown away by the sultry grey North sail which is nothing short of drop dead gorgeous when paired to the light grey hull - all at a competitive price that's difficult to fault. If you are undecided I'd say go for it... and explain it to your other half later. Tongue

I'm glad they decided on the grey laminate as well.  Looks stunning, the sail cut is sublime on the production boats, it just looks right!  The first boat has been delivered to one of my club mate, he has been out in it a few times but not yet raced.  I cant wait until end of August now!!!!!

All good to hear. Can't wait for mine to be ready. Light grey hull the only way to go?!

I see a comment from Roger on the D One thread "I've seen people decide to buy one after just 10mins afloat recently". One of my fellow GWSC sailors, who placed an order for a D Zero, did exactly the same. 10 mins in around 10-12 kts of breeze was enough for him to get his cheque book out! :-)

Picked up my boat on Saturday and took it out for a sail yesterday. Lots of people giving admiring looks and a long list for people wanting to have a go (hopefully with the intention spend some money and join me). Lots of comments and admiring glances and it was quick right out of the box (once I had worked out where to put all the bits of string).

Also saw the production boat at the weekend, they are a thing of beauty and look a little different to the pre-production demo boats thanks to the deck moulding which has raised the side decks by 10mm.

Jeffers love the sail number mate.

What would you put in room 101?
