Sensible, positive and giving a good sense of how the boat actually feels.  Thumbs Up

Any chance you getting into an Aero 9?

Thanks DD. If I get the opportunity to sail the Aero I'll definitely report back.

To be honest there wasn't anything I didn't like. In the very unlikely event of turning turtle there isn't much to grab on to with the very smooth hull and no gun whale lip, but there is some Velcro type stuff that provided just enough grip. And with the short, light, fully sealed mast the chances of inverting will be slim anyway. Easy as pi to get up once it's on its side.

iitick,
A removable return flange mould is added to the perimeter of the hull mould and removed before release. This gives a lip to the hull part which overlaps inside the deck part making a robust invisible join with minimal associated labour.
More robust than the catamaran style invisible join(flange from blanking mould perpendicular to mould surfaces)
Hope that's all clear
Dan

Very hard to find anything not to like on that Rodney, and the quality looks superb.

Perhaps I haven't been paying enough attention but is the mast rakeable at deck level and does that cover remove fully over the cubby hole for your Mars bars and drink? Or does it have a boring sailing function?

P.S. Like the sizing on the pics too, makes them easier to view!

That does look pretty perfect. I have no objection to it damaging Laser but I worry what it might do to a few other classes as well!

Thanks Mast is rakeable (Finn and D-One style) with removable chocks of differing thickness at deck level and also mast step is offset in a delrin cube which allows for the foot to be set in either a forward or aft position.

Sorry to say there is no useful cubby hole
