Well done them, to be honest a smokey smell in a bar has something a bit nostalgic about since that silly EU law banning fags.

Well the Club did an amazing job getting sorted so that sailing went ahead this weekend.  And the smell of smoke in the bar (which was open) was no worse than if there had been a BBQ in the prevailing wind direction.  And the kids had their first Opi lesson.

Crikey. Looking at this guys history it certainly seems out of character if it was deliberate........He must have been in a desperately miserable place to resort to this. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

I agree that there is far to much of the car sticking out for it to be 70mph. Any thoughts on the reason why he would do something like that? I do feel sorry for both the club and the residents of the flat.

If he had, indeed, crashed into the building at around 70mph as described in the report, the car would no longer be recognisably car-shaped, and there's no way he would have been scampering around with flares and tins of petrol!

So in one report he is rescued from the vehicle without serious injury and in the other he gets out and starts the fire.

I smell a rat, or some dodgy journalism at the least.
