So the US price is a little more expensive, due to freight.

People ordering boats seem very happy with the value - on both sides of the Pond!

Might be worth correcting the chap on SA Martin- he said it was the drive away price

Doesn't really compare well with the recently posted photos of the D-Zero, does it?

Aah but mine are just random snaps of random bods out for a go in the demo boats.
I had a go too!
Felt light, comfortable and nicely balanced. More like a pointy stretched Europe than a laser.

Sounds good. Europe's are great boats for small people. If you could reproduce that feeling in a larger boat, it would be winner.

If I could find the time i would have a foiling moth and try and sort it out.  However, I don't have the time.

Failing that it would be a D-1 but even that requires time.  Or in my dreams one of those french foiling cats would do (oh yes, I remember, I don't have time)

I have sailed a laser (never done a circuit or anything like that) but would never buy one.  I do love the concept of an exciting beach boat.  Weight is the thing that makes many boats very poor.  This is an exceptionally lightweight boat which will require different techniques to make it work.  Off the beach will be fun and so will a race.  If all you want is racing then get a Solo.  There is no other option for good racing in the UK.  If you want to go international then get an OK or if you are old enough maybe a Finn for the Finn Masters.  Best of all this boat also fits my entire family which nothing else on offer does.  So the Topper is for sale and we will argue over who sails the aero.  It may be ahead of its time, but why would I care about that?
