I think (hope) that consistancy will come with time - the new way of doing PYs is still re-balancing.

My only fear on it is that the new system hasn't got enough of a damping system, and that we will see boats swinging back and forth round what they "ought" to be.

Ought not the right word, but can't think of a better one.

As for manufacturer suggestions - the first question asked on here when a new boat comes out is often "what is its PY?". If the builder acts coy and won't say, they get all sorts of sh*t. If they do make a stab, they get hounded when it is wrong, in either direction.

We're watching the Grand National and Formula 1 qualifying.

1st week in a long while without a work party at the club, so went down the lake club to pay my membership and walked right into - another work party.. Then this avo bimbling the Alto Forth Road Bridge, just as you finish one end it's time to start the other, but I think I might finally have got the wing to wang without breaking sweat or a nail, using some weird round things that came with Yellow welly's Frey bentos red cross parcel, I've no idea what they are supposed to be for, but I've drilled and mounted them on the bow and they look cool I shall tell trevor they are like after burners..
