We're going to have a mega day to try Icons and Finns & D Zeros and D 1's and maybe Alto and Kite surf kit and Windsurf kit and Stand up paddle kit and there will be how to use a Bar properly instructions and maybe if I can get the relevant permission to sail across the bay to the Varne without getting shot at, a bijou downwinder with a ride on the Light Railway back to your trailer, this only maybe at this stage, it's difficult enough getting all the companies to commit and find a day with the tide out.

Winging it was arranging an Icon test at Dinghy Show as it would be a good boat for the lake at Hunts, no spinny.

there is a very real possibility of an Icon coming to Hunts quite soon. With the D Zero I think Rodney is leaning more towards Grafham.

If there is a suitable race when I am free then I would be more than happy to. With the arrival of a little bundle of joy in mid-June I can see my sailing being seriously curtailed for the second half of the year though.... We are trying to persuade Rodney to bring a D0 (and maybe an Icon) to Hunts for a demo day though.

I think this forum ought to qualify posts which don't comply to the above....

simple Jeffers... please come sailing with us at some random, but light-spirited, event somewhere.
If I had either and Aero or Zero, we could even swap for a race if you're up for it?

IMO "interesting" may not be the word in-use when you are trying to pull yourself onto it for the 2nd or 3rd time and the waters cold, and there's not much to get a hold of and the rescue boat is circling (and trying not to snigger too much) and you're getting pretty knackered and thinking that golf may not be as cr@p as you thought it was prior to launching.... Lest we forget, one of the "major moans" about the RS100 was it's upside-down/on-side 'performance' and foibles when trying to get back into it. Now as an ex-Canoe and Moth sailor (among others) I don't have much trouble with the 100, but it's still had me cursing in tides/swells as it's not always the easiest beast to get onto, and that's with righting lines and an overhang to help! BTW, I haven't sailed this, so please accept this as tongue-in-cheek, based on photo's and forum chat
