Really? Well I went to help my chum buy his first Phantom and that was a heavy old GRP tub, this new one he has I could lift on the trailer single handed, much lighter...

I could do that with my woodie phantom, built in 1973.

Just to clarify what I said GRF, the weight of the phantom in the rules was always 61kgs, whether anyone built them to that weight in the past is anyone's guess. You could do but I doubt they did in nearly all cases.

Anyway Jimbo, if the wooden phants didn't exist then you wouldn't have had a plastic one to waste huge amounts of money on fitting an ipod to, etc, etc, etc.....

That A class pictured above is an amazing looking machine. It is a shame that there has been a tech-war, though, as prices do seem a little steep from what I've read.
