The only markets that trade on price are those with absolutely no differentiating factors but even with the most commoditised product there are still ways that vendors will differentiate beyond the core product such as ease of purchase process, payment terms, after sales service etc etc ...

People who think they are buying on price are typically the most mug of  punters ...

Vanessa, here's how it works with us  Smile   You pay a deposit of £250 for for a shiny new D-Zero at the nice Dinghy Show price and an early delivery, you get to test the boat, if you decide it's not for you you can cancel the order and get a full refund Smile

Just trying to get the thread back on topic folks  Wink

That seems fair to me.  Good scheme.
the same, but different...

is it using the o'neill technobutter?  That's their fancy branding for yamamoto neoprene... it really is technically superior... just don't expect on your next set of [insert generic sailing company] hiking pants.

I've been windsurfing in a 4mm suit (not O'Neill, but similar material) with a polypro base layer all winter, not got too cold yet either.

I'm not after any neoprene, if I was I wouldn't be looking at the mouse mats and beer can coolers they cut up for dinghy wetsuits (Sandline graciously excluded).  However on the other point I totally agree... but 5 years is leaving it a little long, 18 months has to be optimum.  LOL
