what's the plan- 3 separate classes from the start loaded with confusion and multiple PY nightmares, or 'ladies and gentlemen, choose your weapons and start your engines...'

We realised that Zero has been used as a sailing dinghy model name by Comet for years and, whilst they may or may not enforce their prior use rights, it would seem a bit rude to copy it. And (equally importantly) Mrs Wadhams and a few others weren’t all that keen.

So our boat will be the RS Aero (trademark applied for), with a suffix for each rig:
RS Aero 5
RS Aero 7
RS Aero 9
We think the name better reflects the boat’s light weight – and we’re hoping for free chocolate (just getting that in before YellowWelly).

Anyway that’s just the name – look forward to showing the boat at the Dinghy Show! Here’s a couple of recent photos and the logo.

Looks great Martin .... interested to see price. All the best with it.

Yeah, but every frigging word in the OED with fewer than 3 syllables is in there, plus a lot more besides... Doesn't it say that a yellowwelly is an old incontinent whose shoes are full of urine?

Are you saying that you would not have used the Zero name if the D-Zero had not beat you to the punch?

Aero ... looks like you did a last minute change from Zero so the rest of your design work would not have to be re-jigged ...

Seems your Zero alternatives were ...

As stated above Aero is well known is AUS/NZL as something else ...
