You need to take up kitesurfing or serious proper bike Mountain biking then we could consider swaps or I have this excellent extreme pointy racing kayak thing. As to the age I seem to recall a sail number 3169 or 3691 not sure which think the former, it doesn't have any holes with flaps in the back which seems a bit weird whats going to happen if ever I do flip it to get the water out, it'll take forever with those self baler things, do modern ones still have them, what's the arrangement in lilac lil? |

yep two flaps on elastic at the back- dual functionality: 1) let water out when dragging up the slip (I don't capsize) 2) trimometer... if they're letting water in I'm sat too far back As for mountain biking... it went ghey around these here parts the moment ruscoe got his lycra on As for kiting... hmm, no thanks- it looks positively dangerous I'll swop for cash; ideally used, non-sequential notes.

Only Lycra on road bike Jimbo. Seriously though mate, you should take it up mate. Its a great hobby. Grumpf sells transition as well, which are awesome bikes!
Graeme i would suggest condition dependant i wouldnt want to give more than £5-600 on a Solo of that vintage, i doubt it would cost a great deal to patch up. Once its been sorted you may get your money back depending on many variables. So dont panic to much buddy.

Why the hell are you buying the boat Graeme? That sounds mental!
He's been looking for an excuse to buy a Solo for years, and now he's got one and can say he was forced into it - perfect!
