I shall make my cocoa, pull up a chair and wait with baited breath.

I have entered Datchet in the D1.  I have the wrong numbers on my sail, don't know which way round the rudder goes in the stock thing, and will be out of control aiming for contender sized gaps, forgetting all about the wings.
the same, but different...

really, you'd forget them... even in their expensive handbags.  I can't believe there's much boot space left once they're in there.

I once asked Rodney about the size of the wings and fitting them in the back of a car, I seem to recall a response that the D1 wasn't exactly aimed at MX-5 drivers.

heh, her indoors has an mr2!

for some reason she refuses to fit a tow bar.  The D1 is the only boat I know that comes with a matching set of luggage.

Give her time, she's still a relative newbie.  You cannot be a sailor with a serious sports car fetish unless you are prepared to run two cars...  most sailors pick the 'regatta wagon' over the hairdresser's toy eventually, figuring out that sports car budgets can be put to better use on water.

Wings and all the kit fit inside the boat Jimbo, hence the wing bags to stope them damaging the boat in transit.  We have our share of small sports car owners in the fleet and van drivers.

Sorry to labour the point, but you continually refer to your blind faith in the expectation of a gap suddenly appearing from nowhere - how exactly was that supposed to happen..?
