shame i dont have any photos from last sunday Wink. god the conditions were vile! there was not even enough wind for a ' thrilling drift match'.

on the other hand, elaine and i did three laps of our puddle and finished over half a lap ahead of the next boat Smile. some of the boats only managed a lap and a bit!!!!!

will try and spot you and your boat tomorrow. happy sailing Smile

Not this year sadly - it's our SJ favourite but we have 40th birthday party and SC commitments.

shame you didn't- you could have taken a snap of me looking glumly at the conditions... that said, at least I managed to get out on the water on a Sunday for the first time in ages.  (and no, I didn't bother hanging around for the 'race'... errr yuk!)

Fortunately in 10 + years of membership, I've never known two consecutive weekends of no wind at Draycote, which at least meant that the Dash was going to deliver this weekend- albeit a bit on the parky side with the northerly note in it.

It looks good still on wind guru- definitely a dinghy rather than board day though.

Watching the second race from the safety of the cafe. Wind is ok, racing looks good. Had a good look at the icon, was very impressed and it looked fast in the lightish winds.
Haven't found the alto yet and no sign of a pink solo either.
Looks like the event is going well. Hope they have another good day tomorrow.

Well it took the boy an I a whe to get back in to the swing of thing, and finally sailed the boat properly in Race 4. Slightly dissapointed that we've been given a PY of 910, but that's just the way it goes I guess. Also a bit dissapointed that in race 1, a) I stuck the nose of the boat where it shouldn't have been (right in a not-big-enough gap at the Committee Boat and b) the bloke in the RS400 to leeward saw fit to ensure that he shoved me in the said committee boat, causing some significant damage to my boat. As I said at the time I knew I was in the wrong and would have done a penalty (and did), but I didn't need that damage.

Any know where results are posted?
