I hope that's not my hull you're buggering about with, looks like the perfect thing to fit a traveller to so the crew won't sit on it..

Hi Greame ....

Of course it is yours ....   Whenever you manage to fight the legions of moths away from a few of those white fivers you have stashed in the shoebox at 'Fuller Towers' first ...   Wink

You are not the only one interested now .... so maybe get the box of mothballs out a bit smart !

We're waiting to come up and try one in normal set up before I go buggering about, we have the cash waiting, my crew just wants to have a go first, given my 'history' of boat decisions he doesn't altogether trust my assertion it'll be a great boat. Give me a weekday afternoon date and we're there.

Of course ... I would never ever recommend anyone to buy without trying.

My own Icon is not back here until towards end of next week but should be by Friday ... you are welcome to come over then if the weather is suited...  Provisionally next Friday pm then ?

And you might even get a go in a Halo ... er sorry I mean Blaze, as a bonus.

OK Friday next, now it's nice and Baltic. Don't sell that Hull until then and don't let him see that seat, I don't want him thinking he's going to get comfy, we'll be keeping him out on a wire once he realises how boring sailing without one is.

Why not stick that thwart on with a big bit of velcro ... then you could move it back and forth depending on the conditions ....

Put the nice fluffy bit on the deck ... velcro could easy hold that in place.

If you used that dual lock you'd need a crow bar to move it.  That stuff seriously grips.

Know what you mean so has to be used with a degree of care.  Depending on the weight/forces I use less or more surface accordingly.  Velcro presents a risk or the loss of the seat (some might think that's no bad thing) Wink.
