Martin and I plan to be along with an X1.

If anyone would like to borrow one we can likely arrange to have another along too - Winging It... would you like to bring one of your students along from Hunts and try one?

Just to remind you..... it's lighter wind apparent sailing (?!) for two larger or three smaller people, with all the interest for the crew produced by a symmetric spi!!

Chris

PS Is Dan coming along this year to show us his heels again?

I am sorry to announce that we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's FOM.  With a relatively low level of interest and some of our main supporters being unable to attend we thought it better to re-arrange the FOM for Spring 2014.

I apologise to all those who have arranged to come this year but, hopefully, you will use the free time to start training for the Spring 2014 FOM.

We will start a FOM 2014 thread soon and look forward to comments and contributions  Wink

Sorry to hear that Rodney - see you in the spring. Hopefully your (much appreicated) efforts won't be in vain.
Lots of mouths but not many trousers on this forum it seems.

See you all in Spring then. I'll bring my used AC72 (they'll be going cheap!)

this is a great shame.  I was about to post that I can't sail because of a twisted knee.  I guess the upside is that it will be cured (or at least better) by then PLUS I should have my very own DI next spring.  Which I might let you touch.  If you are lucky.

LOL

A real shame Rodney, thanks for all the efforts you went to and for letting us know. Certainly will be trying to come along to it next year. Damn it I was looking forward to have a go in one of those Finn thingies....

Its a shame its had to be postponed, was a fab event last year.  For me at least though it might mean I can actually sail at the rearranged date rather than just spectate.
