AC nationality rule

I think a proportion of the sailing and shore team should have nationality of the team they represent, but to make a 100% rule would be unrelaisitc plus put a curb on potnetial and development, especially in design.

	100% of the sailors should be from the country the boat is from. We don't get Ronaldo to play for England do we??

	If they bring it back the boat should be 100% designed, made and crewed by the 'home' country. does mean Larry might have to find/train some Americans to sail his toy for him......

	F1 teams are not all one nationality and dare I say it nor are Football, Rugby & Cricket teams..

	All we'd get is grandmothers rolled out, people qualifying by living somewhere for long enough, others suing over restraint of trade, and all that other crap. Better would be to treat it like F1, as has been said, and get rid of "team USA", or "New Zealand"as a title - Red Bull doesn't call itself "Team Austria", or Mclaran "Team Hampshire". And admit it is a billionaire's playground, not a national sp rting event. People will be suggesting it brings in an independent body to set the rules, next, rather than the defender saying, "my ball, my game".
