It looks as though Superspars make (made) Laser 16 masts
It looks as though it was an M6 section. They may be able to advise on suitable replacement parts. |

No manufacturer names cast into *any* of the mast components? Not discreetly somewhere in the masthead or spreader fittings for example? If all else fails take the old one bits off and take them to a Selden stockist, and see if any of their bits work. |

Northampton Sailboats do spares for a wide range of Lasers, some of them old and discontinued.
They don't have the 16 listed but they may be able to help directly or perhaps point you in the right direction. |

No manufacture markings. If I knew the maker I would contact them, I know this model is not made any more, it's about 12 years old approx.

Its almost certainly going to be a standard component from whoever did the spars. Are there any manufacturers badges on the mast?
It looks from a rigging manual I found on line as if it might be a proctor/Selden mast in which case the fitting ought to be reasonably available. Edited by JimC - 30 Sep 13 at 8:10pm |

Does anyone know where I can get spares for a laser 16? I need a mast step?

Do you mean the holes in the transom?
If so, it looks as if they get covered with a mylar sheet. See this picture: If so, this type of stuff would do the job: or You can just glue it on. The flap is simply there to stop water sloshing back into the boat while it is draining. This link may be of interest. Edited by JohnW - 19 Sep 13 at 8:28pm |
