the weekend of 5th/6th October at Broxbourne SC. I know that some of you have fast boats and
are reluctant to bring them to Broxbourne so we have an arrangement for some
rental boats at a low cost. Possible rental
classes are Wayfarers, Flying 15, RS Qbas, Laser 1, RS Fevas. I also may be able to add a few tasty loan
boats into the mix. We can camp on site
and a bar extension for the Saturday night, after the FOM 2013 formal dinner,
has been agreed to minimise the risk of raucous changing room parties Party Beer Shocked Dead

<p ="Msonormal">Format to be 8 races (4 each day) with races 4 and 5 being
swap boat races to be scored separately from the overall results and not
compulsory. 1st signal to be
at 13.00 on the 5th and no signal after 13.00 on the 6th
October allowing for late arrival on the Saturday and early departure on the Sunday.

<p ="Msonormal">We will work on an NOR over the next week or two.

but, I think, retiring in a sulk Wink).

Er! I think we are running late on the NOR due to my excessive workload this year

I can, confirm that the FOM is going ahead in accordance with the above posting. I would be grateful if you can post your intentions - will you be coming and what boat. Also, if you want to use one of the rental boats (modest price) also please let me know.

I'm hoping to be there, will move heaven and earth to make it so, but you never know what my business may chuck at me. If I'm solo op it'll be the EPS again, if I can persuade some others to come it could be a surprise entry, will see nearer the time, someone order a set of steps, that tossing the dwarf is very un dignified..

Rodney. Would love to come... But long way for a short break. Could I borrow a Finn?

scotsfinn, our Finn stocks are a fin on the ground this year since the Masters in La Rochelle. More demand than supply right now Let's talk nearer the event to check what is passing through our hands and, no, you can't have mine before you ask

I'll be there but I'm not sure if I'll be in my laser or if I'll have a solo by then.

Fraggle will be around but she won't be sailing. A 7 month bump will be in her way!

Well congratulations to both of you, surely not that much of a set back that you would be forced to Solo..

well they say kids take 10 years off your life so I'm getting the solo in early! By the time I make it to the average age I might know how to sail the boat.
