thank god for that. I can't even remember it, probably due to stupid amounts of rum in the changing rooms, before helping a dwarf over the wire (prob the reason why he wears a helmet)........Seem to remember getting close to sinking an Icon by sitting on the side of it. I don't know about dancing/singing whatever farmers, looked uncomfortable for the poor wretch on the other side of the boat cramped under the boom.
Everything I say is my opinion, honest

B****R Unhappy

Work has got in the way ... no Lord Birkett for me. Looks like club sailing for the time being.

Next big one will be Largs Regatta Week and Cumbraes weekend - http://scottishsailinginstitute.com/events/largs-regatta-week-2013

Any one up for that?

bait taken .......
Trust me it works like a proper boat - it doesn't need one of those pesky raggy coloured things at the front and all that extra string - it works well just using one's dangly thing - try it in its pure form before you cock it up.... aaaaaah but .... purity is something you wouldn't understand Graeme ........
Mike L .... HELP ..... can you raise the funds to bribe iGRF not to buy the protoype (rememeber how well V2 sold and sailed) ..... please! Wink

GRF did visit on Thursday and was suitabaly awed by the weight and lines ...   Inevitably what he  really wants a hull and bits for vivisection practice ....    He's seen images of the MG14's etc.

He is not after 'new' so I'm hoping we can sell him enough development bits and a hull to produce a very low cost Icon... to get an understanding of what it is all about first.    If it is still 'too slow' ( Wink ... we will see) for him then I'm sure he will weild the scapel but we will be encouraging him in the purist direction first.  After all 'poetry in motion' has to be experienced  ... The one concession that will be required is that he does not call it an ICON when he grafts on two heads and a forked tail !

And who knows perhaps he will see the light yet !

Mike L.

PS - he must have been impressed by the boat ... he even managed to buy me lunch  (Thanks !)
