Hi

Now in my 50's with a doubtful back & dodgy knees ( the signs of old age  Cry Cry and too much skiing in my youth) I find that sailing my Laser has become too much of a pain and am looking for a boat slightly more suitable for me.

At 6ft and 14+ stone (the plus depends upon wine & cheese), I would like a single handed boat costing about £2K.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Regards
Graham

What sort of sailing do you want to do?

My International Canoe, for instance, can be very kind to doubtful backs and sore knees, and will happily cope with 6' and 14+ stone, but quite obviously its not a boat for everyone.

if you have no fleet considerations, I'd recommend a TEST SAIL in a Supernova.

Not a Phantom/Solution/300

Solo or Supernova

Or even a doublehander like a Miracle could be S/H

Should be as comfortable as a sofa - it's built the same way and looks remarkably like one! Wink Wink
