The boat is very fast. An RS100, Devoti One Laser and EPS are slower. The test we did. Even the RS300, has a really good upwind dinghy (because shorter) and downwind (no gennaker) no chance. On the video you see our prototypes on his first ride. The series will ship once again be 10 Kg lighter, that it will be even faster. Quick is the dinghy when it is pulled in luv, not as shown in the video (first ride). It's great fun and the gennaker provides enough lift.

Lift???

I like the look of it, hullwise, but it looks like the committee has been working on the rig - 'make it bigger - bigger is better, no, bigger than that, people like great big sails', etc, etc. The hull looks easily driven, why the XXXX does it need such huge rags?

Hmmmm - the comment about the 300 undermines the marketing spiel (sehen sie was ich habe da gemacht?)....no chance because it has no gennaker yet PYs at between the two 100 rigs.

I'm not sure what you mean.  He just says the RS100, Devoti One and Laser EPS are slower.  And even the RS300 - "which is a really good dinghy" - is slower upwind (because it's shorter) and downwind (because it has no gennaker).  Seem reasonable enough statements to me, if true.

Bring it over here and give both the 100's and D1's a race. The POSH regatta is perfect. There looks to be about 8 of each coming. Be some good racing

No it doesn't.  The hull is far closer looking to an RS300.

it does have similar aspects to the 300, but you have to admit the mx ray also bears some resemblance with its wedge shape, and flare at the stern

The gennaker lifts the boat out of the water well . The boat is not to be compared with the MX-Ray. The MX-Ray has other dimensions and is not well upwind. We have taken a long time to develop. The sail is good sized with 10 sqm. I myself weigh 73 kg and get along very well. The sail is made by Landenberger and it was used only the best materials.
