my vids from the weekend musto skiff training day with team datchet so i was complaining of poor boat speed so paul manning and team datchet set about looking at my boat gbr64 looking at the sail shape in relation to the brand new boat so spent a few hours swapping in and out of the boat came to the conclusion the vang was on far to much even when it was off and when it was on it was on far to much so we went in done some measuring and found the mast bracket for the vang was 10mm higher then everyone else's so we had to sort this by brining the nut an bolt down to holes on the cross bar that the vang sits in

excuse the west country accent Tongue

My first go at a YouTube video....

Here's the Yoof and I on our 3rd go in the Alto demo boat at Oxford last weekend. Slowly getting to grips with it - even got a bullet in the second race of the day.
Full written review (unbiased) to come in a separate thread.

Not sure if that'll work (dullard), so it's here at;

So how exactly do you go about embedding a video on here? I did what YouTube said, but.....

use the full edit arrow (diagonal in a box) then select the film reel to insert a movie, select youtube and paste the youtube file name (this bit 64OwQPoAV20) and it should work. like so

I'm looking forward to another better late than never, but nonetheless slow realisation that the Alto is what I've always said it is and y'all are slow on the uptake..

Then maybe a bit of understanding why my perception of all things old and wooden is such that it is and why anyone sailing anything else is missing so much.

Nicely obtained video, mast head cams and all sorts how many go pro's did that involve I wonder.

I used 3 GoPros;
1 on the masthead, attached using a rollbar mount (starboard side in morning, port in afternoon
1 mounted on the bow looking aft (again stbd in morning, port in afternoon)
1 mounted on a brken tiller ext, attd to the boom in the morning, then mounted on Yoof's head after lunch.

The shots from the RIB were taken after racing with one of the above cameras attached to a windsurfer mast with a rollbar mount.
