It was the first Tuesday night race night last night a couple of loons went out one who's nickname is Simon Nutter b**tard which says it all, we all stood and watched otherwise perfect planing conditions in a minus 10 windchill go un raced in.

Today there are snow flurries as we try to deliver fun kayaks as part of our business survival plan

I'm not even considering sailing in this weather. Went to the golf driving range at lunch. Hit 25 balls packed it in as it was too cold. Sod that for a back-up hobby!

we have a DI course going on.  It is hell in this much wind.  Friday is moderation day and it looks awful.

There's a photo on the front page of a windsurfer at the youth champs in Largs sailing barefoot! That's surely not sensible in this weather?

Quite true, I was photographing them for www.fotoboat.com . It was really cold on Day 1 too, and I'm Scottish! These windsurfers are tough.

He's a proper windsurfer, truly it can't be done in boots ever.
