Are you hoping to start a sail numbering system? Or encourage adoption/registration in line with NZ's? as per your boat already is.
I guess anyone taking a home build route would be at liberty to do whatever they wanted for now.

I'll be there Sat Daryl and will dig my shirt out Smile

Will be a great opportunity to suss out control line and rig details - I hate trailing lines so want to look at continuous line options that can work from a trapeze.
Andymac - sail numbering will be allocated from the NZ class association, certainly for the time being.

Great to hear you are going to join the clan. As a side point, I would imagine Piers would be looking to sell his plans and sail number on to anyone wishing to build. (sail No 400). As from conversations with him I would imagine he is unlikely to start re-building after his one was destroyed by flood. I must add I haven't spoken to Piers about this so i could be way out of line. But it might be worth PMing him if someone is interested?

I thought that Piers's plans were destroyed in the flood?
