Maybe by 3pm you might find find a space. Could be a late bedtime for the triplets though! Can you not go sailing on Saturday instead?

You need to get there early if you want to park anywhere near the car park.  otherwise you have to park in town and catch the bus in!  Nightmare.  If anyone needs a lift up Saturday and is around the Gloucestershire area pop me a PM as i am happy for some company on the journey up and back down.  All for the price of a couple of cups of coffee!!  However you will be there all day as i am working.

we parked in the streets beyond the car park one time with no bother, but you'll have great hiking legs OR no strength at all once you have pushed a triple buggy up that hill.
the same, but different...

So, here's what you do, across the road from the car parks is a garden centre with free parking you go in either buy something like bird food or in my case I got a bird table as I have this weird affection for feeding birds, brought about presumably by the same onset of age affliction that caused me to take up dinghy sailing.
Anyway dump your car, go in have a cup of tea, or do the show then go into the garden centre bit and do whatever you guilt feels is necessary and jobs a goodun.

Thankfully they are out of buggys now. We used to have a double and single, because the triple buggies are truly expensive and virtually useless at the same time due to their bulk.
No doubt the girls could walk up the hill, but then they would have no energy to wonder around the show with me. When they run out of steam is when the trouble starts....

Edit: Just wondering what on earth is happening to me. This kind of post is worthy of mumsnet!
