I have never done the Stevie before... any tips?
In fact, I have never sailed at Northampton before!

What about arrival time? (allowing for arrival, rigging, changing, booking in, sailing to the start etc)?

How are the starts organised?

Racing off 1090 this year...

THANKS, Chris

They have a double, single and symmetric fleet.  Not sure where your 2000 fits (Double or assymentric).

If its the later its quite a relaxed day.  One race, lunch and then afternoon race.  Parking is along the road inside the club and normally ample and there are plenty of slipways.  Sailing time to start is normally no more than 5 minutes.

One of the nicer handicap events out there and strongly recommended but limitation on numbers means you will have to sign up now ... or perhaps a few days ago now !

Chris

Sailing the 2000 you are in the assymentric fleet.

11.45 B11:45 Briefing for Asymmetric and Foiling Fleets – on the veranda in front of the club house

Your First Start 12:30 Asymmetric Single & Double Handed & Foilers

Then a break for Lunch, followed by your second race.

I believe their is a nice number for 2000's entered.

More information:

I have an entry in the megabyte, but since I'm now picking up a battered old 2000 and her indoors is looking interested, I'm wondering if I can change it?
the same, but different...

I can think of a couple here who'll be gutted at missing that one.

So we should Praise you, Right here Right now and look forward to seeing Rockafella sank very shortly then.
