I'm being facetious... that iCon looks very smart Mike and obviously, any colour goes for Devoti, but this particular boat looks quite 100-ish with the two tone foredeck.  Just sayin'

Henry Ford: Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black

Luca Devoti: Si...

I never did quite understand why they have unpigmented decks ' to save weight'  -  on a Finn? Confused

Not to save weight!  In fact white or light colours (light blue, light grey etc.) are the lightest.  It's just that some people like it and IMO it can look pretty smart on a Finn Smile

+1 - that orange and yellow one looked really good at the FOM, I doubt it convey as well on a computer screen, but that's not really the point is it?  The Finn is a boat for proper sailors; kite boarding and skiffs are for the 'twitpic' generation.

I had the pleasure of being on the water when the Mustos were racing a few weeks ago and I was interested to see how many were going nowhere for much of the time  LOL

OH!  To get back on topic my Finn is a better colour than your MPS  Wink

edit * musto skiffs graciously excluded...  LOL

I was actually referring to the 49ers and 49erFXs... especially the latter one, you know that popular boat for all the female skiff sailors the world over.  Although I'm sure it'll be great for viewing 'figures'....

Agreed the winds were for a while spectacularly light for a while....

I would say proportionally more remain upright than the d-1 though  Tongue

Depends......surely white light includes all colours of the spectrum so I win  LOL
