Well all bollox aside I think it should be fun, the weather looks like it might play ball on the saturday at least, my only regret is that we didn't decide it should be a cross dressing event. It should have been a condition of entry, that way PM would have felt more at home and funnily enough, I've not actually taken my female wardrobe onto the water.. Maybe next time.

Graeme- the only thing dragging will be your sorry ass around the race course on R4... we'll all be in, changed in the bar, while you limp home with a bucket load of excuses.

In all seriousness, there's a few things I'm really looking forward to-

a) having a sail in a Finn - can't wait
b) meeting people face to face
c) seeing an Icon in the flesh, looks so good in the photos

Meeting people face to face - I bet none of you look like the photos posted a few pages back - the camera always adds a few pounds...

Rupert, I hope you will be doing much more then seeing a D1, we want to see you sailing one.  Bring your cheque book, put you deposit down and we can have a good old bonfire Saturday night with some of your classics...(only joking fella) I am actually looking forward to seeing a minisail sailing, i have seen so many sat in dinghy parks over the years. 
 
I really want to have a go in an Icon, I'm looking forward to destroying Grumpf in a Finn.  Do we even need a handicap? 
 
Not looking forward to Rodney handing it to me in a Finn....I will never live it down.
 
On another note, Sue and Rodney normally carry a stock of Sandiline kit including gloves, so it may be worth asking them to bring some specific kit along to try.  The Sandiline gloces are pretty good, even in a boat like the D-one i had a good grip f the 4mm kite haliard, something i thought only bulilders gloves were good for.

Do Sandiline do nice shiny burgees cos mine had finally died? I know if I was good I wouldn't need one but I'm not.
