What you forumites should do after massaging each others egos in the East is enter a boat for the WLYC 24 hour race. I am just back home after sailing again (I said I was giving it up). There is nothing quite like the experience of sailing against sixty odd other boats in a good wind in the dark. It would be hard to call it fun, but it is an experience not to miss. Myself and my helm had never sat in an Enterprise before and he (the helm) had never seen the back of the island.....it was like the dark side of the moon to him. I had to tell him  where to go and what to miss. But still we were 16th fastest boat  for the post midnight hour, managed to stay dry for two and a half hours, unlike many others, and had a bloody good time. Just imagine Jack Sparrow crewing for GRF at 3am?
