BTW Its Monkey Hangers really - but I think you have to come from Hartlepool for that to apply - and that's not even in Yorkshire.

Hartlepool Ugh don't remind me of the place i nearly died in Hartlepool, well offshore off there waterski racing, nasty sea there when it's windy, don't go coming down here with your Hartlepool hanging monkeys and yes you are a ringer, you know you're a ringer I know you're a ringer, better send that Lester Noble down in her 49er we could have some proper bell ringing on Sunday morning..

Please all NOTE THE SNOW! That was the most extreme Bloody Mary i have ever done! The elastic retainer was broken (i collected the boat from QM that very morning) and we had an off shore breeze, i had aprox 10m to launch and bear off away from launching area, as i bore round, the boat chucked me into windward and the dagger board shot out. Not good in front of the spectators and a forumite with a camera. On another note I lost my dagger board twice, a second time at Abersoch in a windy capsize on the startline. Again, no Elastic big capsize and a dose of gravity. The 300 with no daggerboard, a load of wind and waves is almost as hard to get back up and in as a righted RS100....

There was a glut of embarrassing photos of me in a 300, i think in this particular instance i was about 100 yds from winning my first race in a class open.
