Your choice is inappropriate??!! Remind me why I said I'd do this? Any volunteers to crew a 20 foot symmetric dinghy on a puddle?

Neil- I'll have an answer to that next week when I'm back from France. For now, file me under "maybe".

Anyway, the big fleet at Broxbourne are Flying Fifteens.

The scenery doesn't arrive at quite the same speed in a FF! The 'maybe' is duly noted, thanks!

We are still in discussion over the entry fee.  As soon as it's agreed I will post it here but it will not be OTT.

As they say 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' so join us all for a great weekend of fun.  I think someone said earlier on this thread that we are probably all handicapped one way or another!

Already sail at Burghfield and so i know what to expect of and its not pretty....Full marks to NeilP in the FD though

I apologise to everyone who is disappointed about our venue but Broxbourne SC have gone out of their way to accommodate us at short notice.  I have tried several clubs and it's been impossible to get answers from many let alone a fixture.  If everyone agrees that this should be an annual event I can start working on a date and host club now for 2013.  Grafham would be on my list but is there any preference?  Would people rather go to the coast?  If yes which coast?  Perhaps 13/14 October is a good time to make some decisions?

You will never win whichever venue you get Rodney, and top effort for what you have achieved this year.
Everything I say is my opinion, honest

Yes Rodney great you've gone to the effort, I'm not worried about the venue, just a tad squeamish about the date and SWMBO.. But I shall point her at that hotel and see what she screams...
