Hi,
At the weekend I found a hole in the heel of one of the feet of my drysuit. Has anyone got any tips on how to repair/patch a small hole? Cutting the foot off and replacing it seems a bit drastic, so I'd just like to patch the hole if that is possible. Thanks Paul |

You could try an Epoxy foam sandwich - works well on stopping boats from leaking

A bicycle puncture repair kit might work. The socks feel like they're made of butyl which is what bike inner tubes are made of.

Why not just send it to Hammonds. They are the experts!

We know the weather is bad when someone wears their drysuit in mid-July!! It isnt worth sending to anyone as that will cost you £20 whereas you can buy a puncture repair kit in poundland. Some of the poundland kits have patches that taper to thinner at the edges, these are less likely to lift I would have thought.

yes I used a puncture repair kit for a hole in the foot and it was fine, just take the precautions suggested above.
