First time back in the 100 for a long time! Great weather, top speed of 14.6knots on my gps.

Are you fully hiking? I'm amazed that your feet are so close to the centre line of the boat.

No not hiking 100% but I do have very long legs. Also i think the fish eye lens confuses things because the straps look really close together too which they aren't. The straps were set pretty tight all night. I find at my height i either have them very tight or very loose. Anywhere in the middle is really uncomfortable. I only ever have them fully off if i am in a boat on boat situation such as off the start just to get a little extra pace. There i no way my legs could cope with that for a two hour pursuit race!

It was a wednesday evening race. Given the fact that I didn't let them off after sailing they have probably been tight for a good 72 hours now  LOL

brilliant,
you see the rudder flying out the back,

we had this on the corby doing over 20knots in rti last year,
some cruising sh*t box politly told us we had lost our rudder and they saw it floating away

The usual RS rudder failure!!

I had mine go on the 700 on a beam reach, but it didn't tear off completely. One side let go and the foam split and the laminate on the other side held it altogether albeit at 90°. I've seen a couple go on 800s as well but never as spectacularly as that.
When mine went the boat violently screwed into the wind and tea-bagged me!
I assume you got towed in ok?

I reckon that it quite restrained on the foul language, I'd have been a lot worse than that

Wasn't me. I was watching safely from the balcony but yes they got towed in. It was race night.

It is slightly alarming though. I just hope they had some sort of fracture there before hand.
