Ha, it's on a stick of bambo which is taped onto the boom. It sticks out about one foot from the end of the boom and holds pretty well.

You can see the bambo in the top of the frame with a yellow cord as safety line, obvious once pointed out...

You boys made that other boat look like it was going backwards!

Thanks, not sure why they were going so slow, they're pretty decent sailors. I think they may have had trouble with their hoist or something. Still looks pretty flattering for us though!

Nice Video. Smile

I think its funny how you guys can get great video and the guys videoing the Olympics can only get stuff that makes watching paint dry more interesting.  You make them look like Muppets.

I look forward to the next clip.

Here is a slightly longer clip from the start of January. Check out the nose dive and stalling of the rudder 2:04.

Was just a bit of informal racing in the Harbour with some other 200's. Filmed on the GoPro960 with a mix of mast and boom cam angles.

Hope you enjoy. Feel free to leave feedback.

Nice video.  Are you using multiple cameras or cutting together from different races using the same camera?

Cutting from different camera angles. Unfortunately I can't afford two cameras just yet! If I could I'd put one up in the rig, either looking forward so you could see decision making around the course, or looking back into the boat from above. In the mean time having the camera at deck level where we can move it around and switch on and off is is easier.
