I would hesitate to describe the PY situation as regards ICs and one design ICs as being entirely satisfactory at the moment.

I think there's always a risk that uncertainty about rule status will affect the uptake of a new class. Its hard to find evidence of course, but I do suspect the trapeze confusion was one of the factors that led to the failure of the 59er.

Mirror, named after the paper that sponsored it.

Also the Express, stretching a point is the Toy (Tony's Own Yacht)

Hobie 14 / 16 catamarans.
Don't know if he had a hand in the others sold under the branding.

Daryl,
I like the look of those SPINLOCK cleats http://ukfarr37.blogspot.com/ (deserve a plug). I'm sure they do some with the 'standard' 38mm centres fixing holes. Pondered whether they would be a good choice as the XD cunningham & outhaul deck cleats on a Laser (EDIT: Or possibly a Kirby sailboat also Wink).
It was a genuine question I was going to ask at the dinghy show.
I'll definately be stopping by.
