I'm not quite sure why there seems to be a general 'we don't want you here' attitude to skiffs and performance boats in general?

Also, Olly-  there's a veritable squadron of moths to chase you.

Major I believe.

It is indeed I, Major Sargesail, and my wife Major (Retd).  I'll let you decide who outranks who!

So Matt, does that make you Sergeant Major or Major Sergeant? (Quite a difference - and is that how you spell it?)

I missed that - i thought it was mostly the middle fleet (PY terms) that moved around the most.

it could be that launching a relatively delicate boat like a skiff is just too much hassle.  That being said, I see a laser bahia has entered.  I wouldn't fancy hauling that up those steep slopes - let's hope they get a ride on the uppy downy elevator thing.

Surely RS should be entering a Venture so we could see the battle of the biggies?
the same, but different...

It seemed to me that for instance the 29er dropped 40 points, the 49er 45 points, the Cherub 60 points- and although largely to a lack of significant data- the 12foot skiff dropped 70 points.

I wasn't aware that there was a huge amount of variation in PY from the original PY  from that being used for middle fleet boats in the sailjuice data..

To be honest I hope I'm wrong but it seems to have had, sadly, a detrimental effect on the number of fast boats entering...

I think the online entry thing is a relatively new thing (last couple of years) and the vast majority of people will just enter on the day...
