The sort of bloke you'd see riding that would be decked out in all the latest from Aldi & Liddl, probably wearing some giveaway bit of rooster GP14 finery, with some Peter Storm half finger sailing gloves and those warm in water socks wedged into sandals from TKMax..
The first hill he came to he'd get off and push, uphill or down...

there are some good bikes at halfords, its just you have to get past alot of crap to find them!

anyway whats worse, buying a bike from halfords or buying a bike from g.r.f. LOL LOL LOL LOL

those Electra bikes crack me up, who buys them? the concept is cool when you make your own cruiser in your garage and pedal along the <californian/floridian/carribean> 'prom' ... but a factory made bike in dampest eastern englandshire?

with the luggage trays/panier racks they'd actually be pretty damn ideal soemwhere like Cambridge. low speed cruisers make for good town bikes for going shopping etc, especially somewhere flat. My high seat/drop handlebar bike is fine for high speed commuting, but isn't so great in town.

ER folk who don't think Rooster, Peter Storm, Musto, Socks in sandals, hiking pants, stupid woollen hats, beer towels sewn to their ass, yellow wellies, beards, henri lloyd, gill, gull, decathlon, aldi, lidl, millets, or McLube, are in anyway cool or acceptable near their person.
