Semy, I can't tell from your post what your problem is. Sailwave will do pretty much most stuff when you get to grips with it, but it can take a little bit of tinkering. Almost everything about entering results is easier if you use the wizard thing tho', I'll tell you that much!

In sailwave, all that matters is the start and finish times, number of laps and handicap number.

I'm guessing when you say you can score lasers, you are probably scoring them as a fleet, therefore 1st, 2nd etc. as they finish, so you haven't been using the times.

For yachts they all have different handicap numbers. You need to identify what handicap scheme you are using, PY, IRC etc. Select the appropriate system in the scoring properties tab and for each competitor enter a handicap. Enter the race times and press score. Job done!!!!
