How was the wind last night?

I took your advice on the forecast and didn't make the trip but will be down at the weekend.

1st September!!!!

Brean Landyacht clubs season starts again today! Hurray!

We have just had a film crew from National Geographic do some filming, so look out for that on the box. It was'nt the best of days wind wise though, and we used both days they had book for filming. shame.

Anyway, time to load my yacht on the roof!

Umm... I'm fine with the camber and toe in set up when I have the centers set.

Taking advice from an AUS site I will attach long straight rods to my wheels with shims ( as my wheels are dished ) which will allow me to measure more accurately from my center line.

Toe out or camber? Probably easiest to just take it down your local garage as they'll do this all the time...

just wondering if there are any forumit landyachters hiding in the shadows as I am rebuilding / setting up a new purchase of mine, a Class 5 yacht. And I'm trying to work out the best way of accurately setting up the axles so they are true ( level ) so I can then calibrate the amount of toe out I want.

edit: I'm also having difficulty getting my Hook Worm 26" tiers to seat symmetrically on the wheels. The tire beading on about a quarter of each tire seems to stick inside before sitting on the wheel rim. Even though I have use washing up liquid etc to aid the seating process. Making the tire off center.
