That video made me feel a bit sick, he was always facing towards the transom and it just looked odd. Luckily enough I've never fallen out of toe straps, though on my very first sail the helm came out of them and I had to cope on my own and pick her up.

We've all done it once haven't we? I've properly Fosbury flopped out before in a gybe gone wrong, bloodyh crew single handed, dropped the kite, turned it around, I got to the transom and he beared away and made me swim, sadly, no camera on that day...

I think the vago is a boat that if made properly could be a genuinely great boat to sail, epoxy hull and a proper tapered mast not a tree trunk and it would have some upwind performance and be able to plane in anything less than a forum force15
