Dear Alistair,

We are considering a ticketed onshore area from which spectators would be able to view the competition. This area would have the added benefit of a video screen to keep spectators updated on the action. Please be aware there would be no seats - standing or sitting on the ground would be the option for spectators. Please visit London 2012.com for updated info.

I am interested in watching the sailing. I see that despite saying "Sailing has historically been a non-ticketed event" the schedule released today (15/2/11) includes ticket prices for sailing.

I'd like to know, before I even consider applying for tickets, what the tickets actually get me.
Is it:
A: Admission to the WPNSA
B: Admission to somewhere else(?)
C: Admission to WPNSA and a place on a spectator boat
D: Something else entirely

I feel it is wrong to sell something without giving details of what it is that you are selling! With the stadium sports, what you get for your ticket is quite clear and obvious.
