Adjustable to infinity and back (so wanted to say beyond there
![]() I have had a few harnesses over the years and would say that anything adjustable is comfortable - once, then you get out of it and have to find the comfortable position again.
I would second the Banks option (I have a Nappy http://www.banks.co.uk/harn.html) and have to say it is the most comfortable I have ever had - I have seen the same harness worn by a 6', 16 stone guy (me) and a 6', 11 stone kid with the adjustment of the string
Try them all and see what you like - As with all good bits of kit if you can forget you are wearing it.......

If cheap is a priority, and you are likely to grow out of it and the very best isn't essential (ie. a good second hand one will do), then maybe someone on here has got one kicking around?
I did have one but it got donated to a good cause last year.

Crewsaver have a test rig, try on on, test it, then they direct you to a sales store to buy it. Easy!

i have a banks harness, but it has been choped and changed to suit me, i have also added big wear batches on the backside, as it wore through,
i also have an old crewsaver spreader bar harness which is very comfortable, and an even older bright pink harness which is amazing, one thing i would reccomend tho, is to treat a made to measure or nappy harness badly, screw it up and generally make it as soft as possiable |

the Banks Radial is comfortable and adjusts with string. To my mind this is way safer than all those damn catch on everything buckles...
