I would completely advise against this, it's an extremely dangerous thing to do!! I have seen a lot people knocked or nearly knocked off because they have been listening to music and not heard the car they swerved out in front of. Don't do it! Angry

does that mean you think deaf people should not be allowed to ride bikes!

and car radios should be banned!

can you tell me why i can lisen to music if i am walking or driving ( both of which are more dangerious that cycling), but not when i am riding my bike.

Of course I am not suggesting that. I am just saying listening to music while cycling/driving is very distracting, more so in cycling where you rely on your ears a lot more. I am just pointing out from what I've seen that it can result in some nasty situations.

Spent this morning pimping my ride. All this "talk" of cycling has got me in the mood again. Added the bits I have been amassing over the winter ebay period. Could have spent the time usefully cleaning the on-one but hey, now my P&J looks like this:



It was lucky to come out of the garage this morning as there were a few spots of rain about, but i got the new carbon bars and bash ring/chain device added and re-adjusted front mech.

Ha, hey I upgraded to that saddle!!!! Are they the fleegle bars or something? Interesting backsweep. They look pretty comfy!

Are you pleased with it... apart from the pedals (i've not bought many bikes that do come with pedals, those crappy plastic things dont count, as others have said i guess they expect you to pick/have your own). Did you spec it online? If you did there is usually a big section where you can add pedals though.

Don't get me wrong, i love my singlespeed, but its not exactly leg friendly uphill - unless you get off and push of course Wink

It's not just a single speed, it's a single speed with disc brakes, made by the lamest brand in Christendom, to continue my facebook rant, if it were a pop group it would be the Nolans, if it were lager it would be Coors Lite, if it were a country it would be Lame-beksistan, if it were a person it would be that bag woman who lives under Hythe Town hall, if it were a Starwars character it would be one of the things that Jabba the Hut snacks on, if it was an item featured in "Dude where's my car" it would be the plastic toy that wasn't the continuum transfunctioner..
But it is the sort of bike the g hey Nordic dudes would ride.
