We had an event in Oct at RSC a couple of years ago. Police were not letting double trailers onto the A1 it was so windy. Yea, racing was cancelled!

Thats my memory of the Summer Edition a few years back.

Someone was SERIOUSLY pig sick in the Disabled toilet in Rutlands accommodation. Around the bowl, on the cistern .. even on the wall FFS! I don't think anyone ever owned up to it ... but I hope they are suitably ashamed of themselves.

Met Office surface pressure chart for 0000UTC Saturday currently has around a 40mB pressure gradient from the English Channel to the Pentland Firth!

Metoffice now looks a bit better, 8mph Saturday day, 46mph at night, 6mph Sunday day.
Just make sure you tie your boat down before you leave on Saturday then...
