BTW I watched the 3R Class foilers after the 12ft skiffs vid....it felt like the foilers were all horribly slow and wrong.

Even with the crew "cowering" inside they have to be shifting some...it just didnt look fast.

it has to be said that it was only about 7knts. So regular sailing would not be the usual jumping around stuff either. here a picture of 20knts + with some main foil set up issues!!!

Hard to tell from a snapshot in time - they've got either too little rudder lift or more likely given the boat is trimmed flat too much AoA on the mainfoil - that's why the wand is flying around doing nothing.
