All joking aside the centre jammer on the Vision is a nightmare (I have centre jammers full stop). I tend to unthread the mainsheet from it and tie it out the way when I use that boat.
At least you can spend the time repairing the gelcoat chip in your new toy.....

Nope not mine - the 'THAT' boat we are referring to is an evil Vision which has managed to injure 2 instructors at our club so that neither of us can sail at the moment. Not a lovely 2k...

I don't think THAT boat should be mentioned in public at all...you wouldn't want to know what's said about it in private. My elbow now sports a rather lovely splint...one lovely new boat to play with and no elbow to use it...hmmpf

I was about to say that's there's few boats less terrifying, but then again I've twice scared less experienced sailors using one. Plus a third time where the guy i was sailing with (this time was in Minorca, on holiday), who also wasn't very experienced, that it was a good idea to put the spinnaker up in a wind that was blowing "very very silly" as it would be more stable than without. He wasn't scared though, I think said it with enough conviction that he believed me. To be fair, I wasn't lying.

I think the crew needs to work a little harder, that kite is not set ;-)
Fair play though an L2K is a hoot in a big breeze and surpisingly easy to sail even with a kite.
