I think we need more graphics on spinnakers, in all classes. Plain white is so dull, it offends me.

You don't need tough hands, you need strong hands.
Anyone toyed with the idea of sticking a large graphic
on the spinnaker?
As my boat is called Blues Brothers (serendipitously
called this by the previous owners as me and the film
and the music have "history"), and the fact that the state of the boat
is sometimes quite close to the BB ex-police car, I has thinking
along the lines of black hats on an old yellow spinny...
or maybe a portrait of Ray Charles....

really, you rub that stuff on your hands to toughen them up??, d*mn, I been necking a couple of glugs before sailing each day.... hands are much tougher now, got a few blisters weekend back, didn't feel a thing! although do seem to be having issues with blurry vision.... LOL

Haha, never moisturise during an event as it softens them up and they fall apart quicker! My Dad used to use rubbing alcohol apparently to dry his hands out and toughen them up for regattas?!
