Personally I find it hard to go beyond my Astra Van as a decent sailor's vehicle...

You can't fit a towbar on an RS6. Audi have a peverse attitude towards letting you tow with their cars frequently blocking it on some of the really obvious candidate cars. My beloved S3 had to be replaced for this reason once I decided to get back into sailing properly.

A5's ae ok though (not much less boring than the BMW though).

We'll not mention the name of the RS100 sailor who years ago wondered if he could fit a tow bar to his Ferrari to tow another of his RS boats..

Still cant wait to get a towbar fitted to the Vr6

Only problem is that the fuel bill will bankrupt me, it only gets 25 average across a tank Cry

Has everyone done the bimble on the pole launch block? If not then do check under the chute mouth. I checked last night and there was indeed a sign of the short string melting in one place. Also grove in the block. I've not been aware of a problem, but now put a small piece of tube is in place, so shouldn't be a problem. Worth checking if you have not done so. Thumbs Up

Pfft, with enough money and a decent engineer you can fit anything with a towbar.
