Not sure if ents allow fixed rudders, but i have a carbon fixed rudder for sale. It's not originally from an ent but will fit most classes.

What shape is the blade? Could it be cut down to fit a firefly (22cm by 60cm in the water if I remember correctly)

Sincere thanks for the suggestion......mmm Carbon very nice...it would stand out like a diamond on a sh*t house floor. I want to try the Ent at racing for several reasons but mostly because my crew is not sure how hard hiking will effect her knees, hips and back....If all is well we will probably get a 200 for next year So I don't want to spend loads but I do want to get rid of the wooden shovel thing at the back. When I say "half way modern" I mean more modern than this: |

Have you tried a swap, very handy for shallow waters the spoon rudder.

Don't think carbon sheathed blades are allowed in Fireflies, I'm afraid. |

I'd put some cash with this old thing as well. Happy to get rid of it. Edited by GK.LaserII |

spoon rudders are excellent for teaching you to sail flat.
